Jasarum steyermarkii

Victoria, Canada

I have been searching everywhere for a source of seeds or tubers of Jasarum steyermarkii. It grows in standing blackwater environments of eastern Bolívar, Venezuela and western Guyana and is the only submersed growing aroid (except for the spath, which is held above the water surface) in the New World. It is a strap-leafed Caladieae that has evolved to grow in water instead of going dormant during the dry season as Caladiums do.

I am wondering if anyone here has had experience with this plant and/or would have any idea where I might find seeds or tubers?

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Never heard of it but it sounds very interesting. Wouldn't work for me here in the tundra zone, tho. LOL
