I have lots of plants waiting in the wings to go in the ground, but I am waiting for it to dry up enough to be able to work in it. We have had an awful lot of rain this week. I am hoping to get some serious planting done this weekend. The weather is going to make for a late garden this year. The perennials look great! Strawberries are looking good! I moved some flats of plants(tomatoes) outside to harden off during this rain and they seem to be doing well. Hopefully they will be in their new home soon. I have some pumpkin plants about six inches tall. All just waiting to be put in the ground, as soon as it can be worked.
What do you do with all those extra strawberry plants? Mine have been growing like crazy. I don't do anything to them or for them, except for watering...
I have some of the strawberry plants in pots or in the ground, I just let them grow and pick the berries! You can trade the extra plants if you get too many! People are always looking for strawberry plants.
