Joeswife, I have some seeds, I love this shrub!
Does it grow fast and flower the first year from seeds?
I don't know if it would flower the first year, I bought mine as a potted plant. It is a slower grower though.
If anyone has cuttings I could try that, too old for seeds to grow to the bush, well, maybe tooo impatient.
Lol, I hear ya...I don't have any new growth on mine yet and perhaps its still too small to take cuttings.

joeswife, did you ever find these? The Michigan Bulb company was selling small ones a couple years ago, and I think Plant and Gnome offers them still.
I can send cuttings of Clethera Alinifolia Ruby Spice to you. I don't know what is the best time of the year for them to root well however. or if you want I will send them now. What do you have to trade? let me know as soon as possible.
