I shot these three birds on the coast at Galveston yesterday...
1. Rusty or Brewer's ??
2. ?
3. ?
Help is much appreciated.

CLOSED: Galveston birds
To me the first picture looks like a Common Grackle with the tail shape and bill length. I can rule out Rusty having seen these several times.
Flycatcher. Pretty sure it is not a Least, but I do not want to guess beyond that.
I hope another comes to give you definite answers. :)
Well, I can see why you are posting . By any chance did your Brusty Rewer's blackbird have a female near by? If a Grackle, was it fanning its tail - Grackles always seem to have to show off their tails.
If I were to take a wild guess on #2, I'd say Willow Flycatcher
I better get my guess in before Resin sets us straight - #3 Gray Flycatcher?
Ditto to Chillybean on Common Grackle.
Pass on the two Empidonax flycatchers, those are really, really tricky without songs ;-)
Resin
Oh, gosh. I should have known the common grackle. And, I suspected the flycatchers were impossible without the sound since I've tried to ID flycatchers before. I was ready with my recorder in hopes they would belt out a note or two, but the were being very close-beaked. ^_^
Thanks much Chillybean, pollengarden and Resin. I appreciate the help.
