Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning All,
A noisy morning this morning in my usually quiet abode. First morning of rifle season here. The accoustics from the bottom land make those shots ring up at the house like they are close. Let's hope that these hunters have a very successful hunt and noone gets hurt. The deer here damage crops and make lots of car accidents happen.
My new heifers hadn't been weaned before I got them so we have that bawling all night.. It didn't really keep me awake much , but I feel pretty sorry for them, not only in a new home with different cows and pasture, but to be weaned at the same time is pretty hard on them I think.
Hubby wants to go to the local restaurant to see who's out this morning to talk to.. Like he doesn't get that enough at his job. I married a pretty social guy. and then he's gong to a hamm radio meeting and talk some more. geez.
And then hope to get some work done here this afternoon. My oldest daughter and husband want us to go to a llama and alpaca show this evening. They are into llamas and I guess my thought is I wouldn't mind having a llama guard animal for my sheep. Did I mention I got my daughter (natural fiber girl) a four harness floor loom for Christmas? a bargain out of the for sale ads in the paper.
Ok, enough chatting.. I'll probably check in later.
