Can you name my Bromelaid ID?

North Ipswich, Qld, Australia

It is an all green plant with spikes on the edges of the leaves.

But I have some pic's of the flower for you to help with ID.

Billbergia - which one I can't say. With the size of the infl. I might guess it's a hybrid. The Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies (fcbs.org) photo index has 419 Billbergia cultivars and it's hardly exhaustive - so who know for sure. Might it color up in more light?

I agree. It is a Billbergia. There are hundreds if not thousands of hybrids and to pin a name on your plant is probably impossible. Just find a picture on fcbs.org that is close to what you have and then label your plant, "similar to Billbergia xyz".

Thank you for all the effort. Appreciated.

On second thought, it looks like Bill. pyramidalis.
