Not Ringed Plover; even first-summer immatures have a stronger blackish collar by now.
They look like fairly fresh juveniles, so I'd go for something reasonably locally-bred (3 months old southern hemisphere, rather than a 9 months old northern hemisphere migrant), most likely Double-banded Plover Charadrius bicinctus.

Thanks Resin. I simply don't have enough experience with either of the species.
Your photo would have been great to have on the spot. I would probably have been able to discount Ringed plover even if I were unable to come up with Double-banded. thanks again. David
