Snap Peas and Cucumbers in same container?

Can I plant snap peas and cucumbers in the same container so I can share the trellis for both? I have successfully grown cukes in a container before but never tried snap peas. Should I plant them at the same time or stagger them?

In any garden situation, I would stagger them. Peas are cool weather lovers, cukes need the heat. By mid summer, the peas are done and the cucumbers should be going stronger than ever. You could try for a fall crop of peas, too- the cukes will disappear at the beginning of cooler fall air.
