Hi Patty! Hi KayJones, Hi MaryAnn , Gee, glad I stopped by, couldn't sleep.. I am wondering if you guys know how long it takes passies to bloom? I had one out of seven bloom two years ago, and one yellow blooming now in the basement. What am I doing wrong with the others?
Group Hug and glad you found your passi, Patti.

Hi D :-)
From seed it can take a few years up to 5 I think.
I am trying to use these to stop the cats from decimating my fruiting passiflora, giving them an alternative to laying eggs on and munching down my fruit vines.
They like lots of sun, a good amount of organic matter, good drainage, and a fair amount of heat and of coarse the cats to leave them alone to make energy to set flowers.
Last year they took a 15 foot wide vine down to nubs, I never saw a flower much less a fruit.
Good luck with them hopefully this year will be the year we both have success ^_^

Deb, along with what Patti said, it takes a hot climate such as that found in FLORIDA - ya need to move here!!!
