Boisduval's Emerald (Chlorodes boisduvalaria)
Absolutely gorgeous. I'm always amazed at the color and creativity of "Nature's Art".
It is lovely isn't it. I was thrilled to see one for the first time. That very evening I was shown a picture of one found in the Victorian Alps, some 200km to the North and I was thinking how great it would be to see one, butnot very likely in such a different spot. We were light-trapping for moths in Wilsons Promontory National Park, and during the night we saw 3 or 4 of these gems, attracted to the light.
