This is the one I have http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/349247/

I haven't been out in the yard to look yet but I am sure there is one out there that has been rooted for about a year. It may not look like much but they are hard to kill. As soon as the weather breaks I will get out and get a few pictures.

If you can find someone with a better wisteria I won't blame you fro trading as the one I have is very invasive. But beautiful.

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

That will be fine.
And thank-you.
Looking forward to some photos

If mine does not bloom this year ( year 5 from an ebay purchase) I am digging it up and getting rid of it. I do well with everything else, but I swear I am kicking it out. It's supposed to be Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls'

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I am keeping an eye out and soon it will be in bloom. I will snap a picture. I found one with a vine that is about 10 feet but will have to cut it at about 6 because it is wrapped in my magnolia tree. I haven't tried to dig it yet and don't think it will have huge roots as I am thinking the roots will be like the vine longer than wide. I know it has been there a couple years and will work real hard to get alot of root.

Debra if you got a seedling they say some take 9 years to bloom and also some never bloom grown from seed. That is what I have heard about these wisteria. I am curious about evergreen wisteria. That one is my favorite as it is not invasive and I cut it back and it blooms from spring until fall. I wish I could get cuttings to root. Not sure what the secret is to it. I got one one time to root out of 10 and none have ever since so I gave up :(

Looks like a jungle of Wisteria.
If its not any trouble, yes, please. But if the roots are really deep and difficult,
then it is going to be more trouble trying to get it out.

Let me know how it goes.
thanks

Mine has not even leafed out yet.. too cold.. If you still want it , let me know.. roots and all.

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

Yes, Debra. What size is it now?
And which bulbs would you like?
The Jetfires are planted individually in containers.
The others are not planted yet, but have buds. Delnashaugh are double or triple bulbs.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

well, it is about 6 to 8 ft long atm.. maybe longer.. my hubs would love it away from the elm tree.. anything is fine with me.. I am not a picky person when it comes to plants. :)

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

Would you like a Coral Charm Peony large Rhizome as well?

I also have Casa Blanca Oriental Lily bulbs - I could package some up for you as well.

How much will be left after it is trimmed? Just a rough estimate.
I'm just trying to imagine the box size you will use and the weight - the shipping will also be expensive. Keep that in mind. That is why I am requesting established roots. But, from an
8 foot tall plant, I can only imagine the work involved in taking this big plant out of the ground, packing it securely and the cost of shipping.

Let me know your wise decision.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I will loop it around like a hose, it has worked for me in the past. I will have Joe dig it out, take a pic and then show you, how is that? I send out plants of all sizes every day. ;D I also have a goji berry, and some snowberry bush with roots. If yer interested.

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

Yes to the photos too.
Goji berry and Snowberry bush- absolutely.

Here are the pictures of the one we dug. I am going to soak it in root stimulator for about an hour then box it to go out tomorrow. Can youlease dmail me your address. We did have to cut the root as I think k it went further than China :) what a booger it was. They are so hardy I am positive it will live.

that is what mine looks like.. have not dug yet. Rick, If you are getting one, that is good then! ;)

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

ilovejesus: looks good!
I sent you my mailing address via D-mail
Also need to know if you would like Casa Blanca Oriental Lilies,
Giant Lily of the Valley "Bordeuax" or Daffodil bulbs and your mailing address.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Here are some more pictures. We dug 2 of them as we needed to remove the one from where it was. I put down a yard stick so you can see the size of them. I would give them a dose of root stimulator every day for a few waterings. You can also mix it at half strength and water everyday for a week or so.

Dmailing you

I got my package today and I am so excited. I can't wait to see them bloom. Thanks so much for the trade :)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Sorry didn't say I recieved them. Thanks so very much. I will enjoy the Daffs and lilies for years to come. :) I also left you feedback :)

South Lake Tahoe, CA(Zone 6a)

Thanks for the wonderful trade! The wisteria was soaked for a few hours then planted.
Placed rooting hormone all over the roots to help get them established. Will take photos this weekend after the rains sweep through this area.

Will take more photos of new growth as well.

Thank-you again.
Will be leaving feedback momentarily on a great trade.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Thanks so much!
