I'd buy one of these!!! Remember how much they were? I alerted admin re your doubles here.

I am about to post some photos of an Aloe dichotoma forest near Nieuwoudtville . Amazing.

These (and most of this person's plants) were overpriced, so probably around $500 each. You can grow a $30 5 gal plant up to that size in just 2-3 years here, so hardly worth this. Still, she has very nice plants. LOTs of Aloe pillansiis for sale, too, though I hate to think how much those are going for.

Well maybe then I would not buy one for $500! LOL So many wants! I follow Aloe pillansii on eBay, they can cost!!

Hayward, CA

I bought a good size gallon plant a few years ago at the Dry Garden in Oakland for less then $20. I might have been 14" with a nice thick trunk and leaves. I made the mistake of moving it a year later when it was doing well to "a better spot" That killed it. This year I will try again...

That is so sad! I never see these for sale.

The Dry Garden has them again..but larger and more around $75-100. I've seen photos of big ones- by bay area standards- in Berkeley and Alameda. So,it can be done!
