Amur Honeysuckle, Lonicera maackii, is the most common invasive shrub infesting open woods in southeast Pennsylvania, USDA Zone 6b, originally from northeast Asia around the Amur River between Siberia and China. It is also a major invasive player in parts of the Midwest, as northern Illinois. Here are two photos I took: the first in late November of 2013 with the poor yellowish-green autumn color and the second of a patch in January of 2014 in winter appearance.
