Thanks for the birthday wishes! It was a low key celebration - just a nice dinner at home. Mike cooked steaks on the grill, steamed shrimp, deviled eggs, mac&cheese, salad, and a dove ice cream bar for desert. He does great on the grill, but all else was ready made. It was really good all the same and we both love dove bars LOL. He doesn't often make dinner, so it was a nice surprise. We ate in the conservatory with only the outdoor type string lights on and my star ornaments overhead - after being together since our teen years, that is probably as romantic a mood setting as we ever aspire to :)
