Weeding today, and was just about to pop this little feller out when I realized I'd never seen a weed like this out here. What do you think about this curly Q?

It looks like some of my native rain lilies. Chive type tops, small bulbs. My native grape hyacinth sometimes has a curl to the leaves although not quite as corkscrew as those.
I'd leave it and see what it does.
Hmmm, yes, I think I will.
I wonder if it could be albuca? Those curly q's are adorable.. like a little Shirley Temple of the plant world :D
