Shade plant online nurseries that take PayPal?

Monkton, MD(Zone 6b)

Hi everyone, I need some resources for mail order nurseries who take PayPal. I have sold a lot of stuff on eBay and now have money in my account to buy more plants. I went through the Garden Watchdog and it is tedious to go through and find what nurseries accept PayPal payment. My main interests to purchase are Hellebores and other deer proof shade plants. Thanks so much!

Gosh, I would think that almost all of them take Paypal. You must not want to deal with the larger nurseries? Do you get seed catalogs? You might be able to find shade plants easier in those and then google for plants. It seems I saw some Helebores in one of the catalogs just the other day. They are beautiful. I only have 2, a white and a purple. But, there are so many different ones. Good luck

Thanks Jnette - yes I am looking for the ones that sell the rarer plants - like the old Wayside Gardens used to do. My favorite Hallson's doesn't take PayPal, Santa Rosa Gardens does but they don't have the ones I am looking for. In the meantime lets think spring.

I'm sure several of the nurseries I order from use PayPal, but the only one which comes to mind is Wild Ginger Farm. You might want to check out their offerings.

ottahand7, are you selling your plants on EBay?

Monkton, MD(Zone 6b)

Hi Lauri - No I am not selling any plants on eBay. I have a lot of holes to fill in so I am buying. I am bringing many of the deer candy plants to our MI cabin garden as the deer are not nearly as bad as what they are here in MD. Weerobin, thanks for the tip on Wild Ginger.

Is there any hellebore nurseries that take PayPal? Thanks and lets think spring as this winter storm continues to bear down on us.

That's a gorgeous shade garden you have there!

Thanks Sequoia! We made the decision years ago to not to try to grow grass there any longer and it has finally gotten filled in. It is a lot of mulching though and the voles take their toll. Seems like the more expensive the plant the more they like them!

Darn those voles!

Grass is overrated though :)

Sorry, I wrote and lost it what I think might work. I can't remember, but will think of it and write in the morning. I now have this thread in my favorites. That is how I lost it. Jen

ottahand7 ~ Do you have a PayPal debit card? I use it to buy most online items.

Thanks evelyn - I guess that is tied to my PayPal account so that may be the answer to my problem. Very few nurseries take PayPal.

Ottahand, are you looking just for MD cold-hardy shade plants or tropical plants as well?
