CLOSED: Which eagle?

Tiller, OR(Zone 8a)

I thought at first this was a Golden, but I've never seen one in the wild before. I was only able to get shots from the rear, sorry.

Any reason to think it is not a Golden? Are Bald Eagles more common in your area?
I am leaning towards Golden - but if you have another picture that shows its tail better, that would be helpful.

PS- this is the only side-by-side image comparison I found. Maybe someone has a better one?

I'm not an Eagle expert, but I have seen a few Bald and Golden, and they did not look the same shade of brown to me.

There are many Bald Eagles here, and in the past (as far as I know for sure) I've only seen Goldens here at a distance, such as in their courtship flight.

I saw no white on this bird at all. I'll need to check my photos for a clearer shot of the tail.

Bald Eagle, juvenile - the size and shape of the bill and head is wrong for Golden

Thanks. I thought I should double check.
