I can't remember the species name to save my life. My one plant seems to have died from the first ice storm and cold snap we had. Are these that much more tender than some other species that grow well here? Which Ruellia is it? I have nudiflora spreading everywhere in the yard (to the point of war nearly) but I really like this little short and trailing one.

Low Petunia
It is called Ruellia humilis and I don't think it is as hardy as Nudiflora

That's it and mine really looks dead. I had several in the past that died but the one you gave me had been doing quite well.
Well, it has gotten quite cold, if you would like some cuttings when the weather gets better, I can give you some.
It's been brutal. I had to cover up my cactus bed for the third time today. Most winters I don't even do it once. If mine doesn't come back and you have some cuttings I would love them. I don't even see it for sale from seed.

I will be glad to give you some.
About the cactus, my spineless cactus is kind of limp but o.k. and my Agave americana has been hit pretty hard, I am going to have to cut off a lot of it.
