Last year I bought of small pot of what was labeled as LARGE LEAF PORTULACA which I was able to divide, and take cuttings to make a border edging for part of my kitchen garden area. It was beautiful all summer. I am hoping it may self sow.
I know there are other colors that must be available but I have not been able to find a source. Can anybody point me in the directions of sources for LARGE LEAF PORTULACA?
This is not the common portulaca like moss rose that everybody seems to have.
Large Leaf Portulaca
The Toucan series from Swallowtail have the large roundish leaves.

Ardesia, this is exactly what I needed.
Have never heard of Swallowtail Gardens, but after looking at their on line catalog, I see I am going to forget my resolve to go slow on new purchases for seeds this year.
It's all your fault! LOL

Gulp, I admit it, I am an enabler. :-)
Not much of a seed starter myself but I did try some Swallowtail seeds about 2 years ago and was pleased with the germination rate and quality.
