So I'm looking for a rose cultivar that produces black hips, is hardy enough to survive on its own once planted, has color (anything but white), and spreads/grows quickly.
I need to use them to fill in gaps wild multiflora rose usually take over near woods edge and roadside what better way than rose vs rose, hence why it has to be hardy and grow fast and lots of suckers, but I want some color!
I am looking for at least 4 or 5 plants about 1-2 feet tall already I can plant right away. I will order in spring right now I'm just trying to find the best rose for the job, I live in the US.
