snow ice-cream!

springfield area, MO(Zone 5b)

My kids and I had snow ice-cream today! YUMMY!

I large bowl of snow, like a mixing bowl you would make bread in or take out to the garden to pick tomatoes...
2 cup of whole milk, you can use 2% but the whole is creamier
I cup of sugar
1 tbs of vanilla flavor to taste.
I mixed the milk, sugar and flavor together until the sugar is dissolved well so it won't be gritty. Then pour it over the snow and stir it thoroughly, this takes a minute to do. EAT!

This doesn't freeze very well, best to eat right away.

I would think you could add purred fruits to the snow to make fruit slushies, strawberries, or blueberries or peaches would work nice for that.
