Unusually cold here, temps -10 below to +15F. Temps were about 10F when these were taken. At first glance I thought this was a Says Phoebe that didn't migrate. After I looked at the photos, I wasn't sure.

Thank you. It turns out that they are found year-round here. Now I wonder how many of my summer Phoebes were Towhees. Here where the High Desert meets the High Prairie, a lot of our birds are dust-colored.
