November 8

I ended up going to bed pretty early last night and that is a cue for the phone to start ringing. One of the first calls was from a guy that has had a lime truck parked out here for about 3 years.. The guy that owned the place before us was a mechanic and was supposed to fix this truck and never did. The truck is pretty big and was parked in our machine shed we finally pulled it out thinking we could use the space ourselves. Will sure be glad to see it gone.
Then the guy that sold us two hereford heifers is bringing them down this evening. I have been anxiously awaiting them. They were a little more expensive than I thought, but should be a nice addition to our little growing herd. Now I need to cool it for awhile with buying critters.
The weather here has been incredibly nice.. I have missed most of the wonderful weather by working inside at my job.. but I know that job keeps me going here on the farm until I can make it pay for itself..
