Epi oxi how long till the buds open

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

Ok..I understand it will open when it is ready... Mine are still outside... They will come in tomorrow... I wore myself out today getting things inside and into the cool room for winter storage in the snow flurries and colder temperatures... It's 31.6 *F now.... Likely too cold for them.. Will the flowers open when it's too cold for a moth to visit".. I did get two smaller orchid cactuses In...And the 6 ft tall. Dragon fruit plant..and a smaller 3 ft tall one inside.. The 3 epi's fill a 6 ft long planter.. And I have to cut them out in the morning....
Can they take this low freezing temperatures.. Would this bud have ever opened it the temps remained at say40* F.. What's their low limit on surviving
It was just more than I could manage.. Even with some paid help to get it finished before this hit...

They will be OK for short periods of time in temps slightly above freezing. You may see some freeze damage though that will need to be trimmed out. Your buds are on the verge of opening--I would say the same night you took your picture. Good luck.
