Looking for Vernonia noveboracensis (New York Ironweed)

's-Gravenhage, Netherlands(Zone 8b)

I'm looking for Vernonia noveborcensis (New York Ironweed) seeds.

If you have them, you might want to trade them for seeds from my list: http://www.freewebs.com/belevenissen-van-een-tuinkabouter/apps/webstore/

Thanks for helping me out!

I have some seeds of this drying , collected from the wild . I am still going to have to grow this plant to ID it absolutely .
It is Ironweed as to if it New York or Missouri I am still not sure.
Talk again in a while
Pardon a mistake , because the only good seed I have is Vernonia Altissima

This looks like the ironweed that grows in my yard. I love it and have kept it growing. It gets up to 6 feet tall and a deep purple color.

Dear Marti,

That sounds promissing. Did it set seed yet? If so, I'm certainly interested!

I will check on it. Today we have rain so hopefully I'll get a break in the rain and will see if there are seeds. If I find seeds I'll get them inside and let them dry off and than I can send them to you. To bad I can't send plants to you.

Mine was Altissma ID of the wild plant . Their is a larger darker purple species that grows here..
I have a few seeds , as said , only it is not the one you were looking for though.

I just hope they grow for you. The seeds are very small so there will be more than seeds in the package. Let me know how they do for you.
