bacopa monari seeds

I wonder if this will grow in Texas? seems to be a bog plant, and an herb, the seed extract is good for oxygenating the brain?

According to the Wildflower center it is native to Texas, here is a link;

hahaha - I gave some to someone on Sunday! supposed to be the bees knees for preventing memory loss according to an info email I got sent,

I actually have this one. Have had it for 5 or 6 years, although it almost died out in January 2010's hard freeze.

Had no idea what species, but was pretty sure it was a bacopa. wow.... wonder if it will live in an aquarium? Over winter anyway.
