My hubby & I have been racking our brains & can't come up with anything we like. We have a small hobby farm. Scottish Highland cows, chickens, roosters, ducks, dogs cats, I even have fish in the house. We just signed papers last week, we own again after losing our first home when our place of employment shut down & went over seas several years ago. We have 3 grown children & one grand baby boy. We loved being parents & LOVE being grandparents. Miss our children being home but enjoying this new chapter in our lives. We tried a garden this year & plan to do it every year. We are learning all of this. I adore animals, specially dogs. I love the Packers he loves the Vikings. We live in a valley that echo's and have 17 acres of land. Really nice house. It's beautiful here. In the spring we have a small river through our pasture. We are a very happy couple, been together now 15 years and fall more in love every day! My husband is the best guy ever, calm and easy going. Never gets mad....say's I am the best ever too :) I love being with friends and family, taking pictures and he loves fishing, hunting and family time here. We've gone through a lot over the years. Loss of parents, family pets, jobs, etc. But we stayed together and our relationship grew stronger. We had faith we'd be okay again one day. That day is here. We bought this house on a land contract a year ago....been trying to think of a name for months now! HELP PLEASE {Picture of my hubby with cows.}
Naming my hobby farm-HELP!
It sounds like heaven to me ! Maybe "Paradise Found"
May you have a wonderful life in your new world.
I would love to see more photos of your new home-

Believe it or not, that is the best name I have heard so far....and it fits! We have moved 3 times after losing our first home. We lived in some not so fancy places :( and endured rough times along the way. {Picture of my husband & his brother building shelter for our cows. Our one pasture is beyond that.}
I LOVE it- and I am green with envy at what you are doing. I don't know what your ages are, but for anyone to get a new start in the craziness of our world now- go for it with gusto! I am 79, and hubby needs my care, so our adventures are about over. But if I could, I would attempt what you are doing in a heartbeat. Enjoy every single minute and live like it was your final day on earth.
I hope to see more photos- I plan to keep track of you!
edited- I sent that name because after reading your post I could tell you had already been through "Paradise Lost"- so what is more fitting than "Paradise Found" ? Your hubby looks like a jewel- I know you have a wonderful life in your new homestead.

Highland Valley Acres
Highland Haven
Echo Valley
Three moves? "Third time's a charm", they say. Can you make something out of that?
How about "Thistle Dew Farms" since you raise Scottish Highland cows.....and use the Scottish thistle with dew drops on the leaves as your logo?
I love every idea everyone has given me. It has to be "THE ONE" before I take a huge step in naming it. Will run it by my husband but want more ideas. JoParrot, I am sorry that you can't keep doing things you love but standing by your husbands side is probably what is most important to you.I hope you were able to do so much in your lives. Thank you for the kind words. I am 44 & my hubby 45. {here are pictures of my son Andrew & grandson Asher this spring when we have the little river going through, one of my little buddies Banjo (cat) & Rosco (dog) They are who keep me sane now with my children all out of the house. Banjo just turned a year old & Rosco will be a year in Jan. Our other dog Jasmine is almost 10 & she spends most her time outside holding down the fort LOL & most recent picture of my family My son Andrew 25, daughter Kiaya 21 sitting, daughter Kaylee 19 kneeling & daughter-in-law Kirsti 22 in the middle}
Beautiful photos-thank you so much.
Another name: 'Full Circle'
The FUNny FARM?
3 strand homestead. assuming u are christians. u had faith and he provided. also with a successful marriage. google 3 strand scripture for the exact quote but it says 3 strands are stronger. husband wife and god r the 3 strands.
I like it O_angi.
Emanuel Acres. Emanuel means God with us. Even though you went through hard times you know God was with you and He has protected you and is prospering you.
Oangi and cajuninky both of these are excellent.
I agree Jan, I'd take either of those...a heartwarming story deserves a reverential name.
Did you put up your name plate yet?
Scottish Acres
Last Stop
Slice of Heaven
Wild Highland Farm

Reminds me of a college song in Tx tween the Aggies, the Longhorns, and the kids went with the THIRD choice... so they hookem gigem and somethn else- been so long since I heard that one... chuckl.
