Saw another monarch today.

It was quite large and stayed for a while, checking out my milkweed. Dont see any eggs tho. I think I saw her depositing on the underside of the leaf. Do they do that?

I just spotted two monarch cats on my milkweed within the last 5 days. I am attributing this to the cool summer weather we had here. I'm so glad to see them. I grew so much milkweed this year and it was looking like no caterpillers. I've had monarchs in my garden for years and you know I don't think I've ever spotted an egg, just butterflies and cats.
