I, in Houston, TX mailed 2 plants to a DG'er in Canyon Lake, TX. Last Monday. I sent him the tracking number and the next day he wrote to say he thot I must have given him the wrong number since the tracking data showed the pkg to be in Kent, WA. I checked the number and it was the one I was given. We read the various sorting stations as it left Houston and was received in Kent, sorted and sent out for delivery. I figured the plants would be dead by the time anyone figured out the error. I tried to find a way to notify of the errror but you know how that went. Then I check on the pkg late Thursday and it said the pkg was at the San Antonio sorting station and by Friday at 10 AM it was delivered to the correct address. DG'er reported the plants looked OK. Does the PO owe me money because it was 5 days vs the 2 day that I paid for?
CLOSED: Express two day shipping
Actually believe it or not but no. I was told they guarantee 2-3 day delivery BUT if it doesn't tooooooo bad. I was appalled when I was told this. I ask them what good is it?
It is a government facility so go figure.
You can call and check but this is what I was told by our local postmaster
I am glad the plants were fine.
Same , From where the old saying of : "There Are NO Guarantees " That saying actually came from Government ...
Makes you wonder doesn't it ?
Actually, I dont wonder much, anymore. Nothing much surprises me now at my age.

Marty I agree. I am no longer surprised just appalled. The sad thing is everything works alot less than it use to and with no guarantees. The only Guarantee today that stays the same is Jesus. Everything else just gets worse.
I know one thing is the cool front that came in is absolutely wonderful !!!
I have to add the other thing that is a guarantee is my family here at DG is always awesome :)

I have to tell you all a story... When I lived in SoCal, I sent a trade to a lady exactly 200 miles in Ca, away from me. I send this huge box that I made and stuck in some agaves , quite a few too. It was send priority with tracking .. She got it in three weeks. Lol.. Good thing I had tracking because I was thinking she thought I didn't send anything. All the agaves were in great shape too. Good thing they weren't tender plants. They couldn't find her town, i can't remember the name either, I'm sure it's in my dmails somewhere.
Yes tracking is free now but when it was 70 cents it was well worth it.
