I just love these plants! I have a hedge of them planted between Red Geraniums in the front of my house, and they are a big conversation attraction. They are an old heirloom variety, named Fish since the peppers were used to make a white fish sauce by fishermen (at least that is what I have read). Super hot and beautiful as they color up in all combinations- and the pure white & bright green foliage is awesome to behold! I will have plenty of seeds for SASE if anyone is interested. Just Dmail me
Fish Pepper Photos
I've heard good things about them and they are certainly lovely to behold! I would love to try them and will send you a D-Mail.
they look amazing, unfortunately im a heat wimp, LOL! ;)
jmc, you could grow them just for the beauty of the plant-they only get 2 feet tall and the foliage is so pretty! I think they would make a gorgeous potted plant.
yeah that is also true.
sending D-mail. I've been looking for literally years for a pepper that my GF who was a commercial fisherman, would put in an empty hot sauce bottle and fill with vinegar to put on fried mullet. That bottle was always on the table.
I'm impressed and will send you a Dmail.
My offer of Fish Pepper seeds is still open- I will have a big supply, so just Dmail for my address to send a SASE for free seeds. They will be ready in a few weeks.
The Fish Pepper seeds will go out tomorrow to all who sent me SASE- I have more if anyone else would like some-just Dmail me-
I grew out seeds that I was lucky enough to get from Jo in 2012, just have to say they did great and are still doing well. I grew a couple in containers and I'm trying to over winter them. The plants are pretty and the peppers are great, nice combination.
1lisac, I'm happy to hear that my seeds did well for you. Anyone else want some? I still have several baggies all packed up that I will be happy to share.
They are gorgeous! Do you think they would do well down here in hot, semi-arid south Texas? If so, I'd love some.
I'm sending a D-mail for your address if there are still some left.
Thank you!
Got your Dmail, lbarden, and replied. I have some young seedlings growing in a window- they seem happy- about 2 inches tall now. I'll send photos when they are bigger.
My seeds have arrived, I should be home to open them up in another week. I cant wait!
JoParrot, I'd love a few seeds, if you still have some to spare. Will send you a Dmail.

Strange-it must be the holidays- I haven't had any requests for seeds in several weeks, but today I had 3-- yes, I still have seeds left and have replied to all..Happy New Year !
Yep! Christmas is out of the way, so the mind is clear -- and thinking about spring gardens! Thanks!
