Apple tree question

I'm planning a espalier fence and need spur bearing apple trees. Can some kind soul verify this please? i would hate to get a free going only to find out It's the wrong type.

Granny Smith and Golden Delicious are tip bearing.
Gala, Starking and Reinetta are all spur bearing.

I know for sure Golden Delicious and Gala are spur bearers and granny smith is a tip bearer.

I'm guessing that Starkling based on its parentage is spur bearing and Reinetta is tip.

This document has a list of tip or partial tip bearing varieties as some have both characteristics of setting fruit only on new growth verses on spurs on older growth.
