Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

I just bought and ate a bag of chips (look like corn chips the kind Tex Mex restaurants serve). They are made from white beans (navy beans). The company also makes chips from pinto beans and black beans. I have not tried those yet. They have twice the protein of corn chips, less sodium, less carbs and twice the fiber.. They are gluten free (but so is corn) and qualify as low glycemic by laboratory testing. I enjoyed these immensely but I had the following pessimistic thoughts.

If these catch on, the price of beans will go up.
If these catch on, Monsanto will buy them out or start GMO'ing beans

but....meantime, enjoy. I am not related to these folks or work for them or any connection. I just think this is a great idea.
