Look here!!

Was never able to get bloom from this ginger plant til this year. Last year dug it from original spot and just threw it in a corner in a pile of leaves. Now it's full of bloom.

Oh, how I wish I knew what they smell like. I have no sense of smell, so to me they are just a lovely flower.

What a great surprise! They do smell wonderful; I've been sneaking over and sniffing my neighbor's. Mine were transplanted this year and aren't blooming. Hoping for next year.
