I am pleasantly surprised the numbers of butterflies I am seeing. They are difficult to photo with the equipment I have, but here are a few captures (photo-wise). I am the world's worst at trying to id these, any help appreciated

Actually your pics are pretty good. Light colored butterflies tend to reflect the daylight and cause the picture to be washed out with glare. Yours are sharp. The first butterfly is a Cloudless Sulphur, 2 & 4 are Common Checkered skippers, No. 3 is a Clouded skipper, and No. five is one which I have never seen but based upon the size of the spots and your locale it is likely a Whirlabout skipper.
