I photographed this wren last week in Southern Arizona, about 25 miles south of Tucson. I also got a Bewick's Wren, but this one is different and I'm not sure which one it is.
I would appreciate help with the ID.

CLOSED: Which Wren?
I think Canyon Wren but not 100%. Wait for ditto or nay from another birder
DonnaB, It could be. I thought either House, Rock or Canyon since they could all be in Arizona at this time and none of them have the long supercilium. But, I really can't tell which.
I'll wait on more input.
Thanks,
Patti
House Wren. Looks like the southern AZ subspecies 'Brown-throated Wren' (formerly treated as a separate species), given the barring on the lower flanks. Canyon would show an obvious white throat (even from this angle), and Rock is much greyer.

Thanks, Resin! I really appreciate the info about the AZ subspecies. That barring is what was throwing me off.
Patti
the barring is what made me think Canyon since I couldn't see the breast. Thanks for clearing it up Resin
