I think this is a variegated fritillary (Euptoieta claudia) chrysalis. It's attached to a Senna cormbosa bush but there is also a lot of Passiflora incarnata growing in the senna bushes and that's one of the fritillary's larval hosts. The other fritillary I often see is the Gulf fritillary but its chysalis looks nothing like this.
