hummingbirds galore!
I saw that. Lucky her. I have had only a few here this year but I always relish seeing and feeding them. Those are definitely fattening up to continue on the migration. She's in the direct path and what a show!
They are coming in hard right now, I got home and filled 3 feeders, they came in for the plant watering I did early this morning, after listening to at least 12 in the trees around me last night, I usually only have at most 3 or 4 here. The rains/fires may be affecting feeding places this year.
That's interesting, kittriana. Keep us posted. My few are busier than ever defending feeders and territory. It won't be too long before they head your way.
Mine aren't sweet tempered like hers, they are on defense too. Still too fast for my camera, chuckle
any idea where the butterfly brew thread is? My black raggedy swallowtails are also comin thru?
