Tommyr, what are you feeding that beautiful brug? Jaw dropping blooms, very nice.

Peter's 20-20-20. I have a 10 foot tall brug that is JUST NOW making flower buds. Question, should I cut her down to make her fit the house and start a few cuttings from ABOVE the "Y"?

Does that sound right? Thanks for all the comments!

I don't know, is it that cold there now, can you wait till you see the blooms before frost? Oh man, what a dilemma . Drag it next to a warm wall till it blooms. Lol. I have not seen peters sold here in nm. I used that alot in Southern California .

I hope some one in the colder areas with more experience than me come along. I'm a zone 8a sometimes 7, so I can't give good advice here.

First frost here is mid October so it MAY get to bloom. either way it's alright if it doesn't get to that point. On the Fertilzer I should have said Jack's classic, formerly Peter's.

Pete's was fantastic, I had a hollyhock that I accidentally fed for months and it grew tob12feet hight, new had a bench under it, everyone thought it was a tree, lol. And I had planted some gourd seed in the same pot., the roots of the hollyhock went right out the holes in the bottom of the pot so I couldn't move it, it was that way for three years..lol, it busted the pot.

Maybe I can find it here under that name, if you can take a photo of the packakage and dmail it to me, I would appreciate it, that way I know what to look for.

You have plenty of time to see blooms and then trim it, keep it as tall as possible for next year..it will be something else if it grows even taller. Maybe it will Y sooner for you.

Edited for spelling. And I think I put it in quotes.

So right on the brugs not being Common. They are all phenominal. (Is that a word) I love mine, short and tall.
congratulations on the blooms....
