Hummingbirds are hard to photograph!

I spent most of the day trying to get what I consider one of the toughest photos of birds - a hummingbird at a flower - not a feeder. Here is what my efforts turned up. Not bad but I will do better. Going to try again tomorrow.

Nice try! Agree, their photos look much better at flowers (natural) than feeders (artificial).

Yes on both counts! It is a female Ruby Throat and it is Salvia "Black and Blue". You are on the ball this morning!
