Thanks Gourd how did your seeds come out??

Mesilla Park, NM

Don't ask, I couldn't keep them alive in he winter, too dry here. I have a plan this year. I got two humidifiers for one room and a fan. I lost more than half of my cuttings too. I did get a whole pod of seed from an old friend. So ill be trying those.

Long Beach, CA

Gourd. Keep a stiff upper lip. I have killed my share of seed and cutting for sure. I have the cutting thing down now. Seem they root in Styrofoam cups best for me. As for the seeds. I get about 8/10 to sprout and 6/10 to stay alive lone enough that I can pretend I know what I am doing.

Deejay, you remind me of myself. I've had frosty pink for over four years and it has not bloomed yet. I take cuttings every year and nothing. This time I'm digging that brug up and if it doesn't bloom next year, well, it stays in the ground ... A friend said that it is because I keep cutting it before it makes a Y, so that is why.. Which makes sense.

Dana, that sure is tall! They love your climate.
