Insect Egg ID

My handyman squished most of them but the one in the middle was untouched. I'm not sure if that's good or bad! Does anyone recognize these?

How big are they? What is the object upon which they are attached?

might be stink bug eggs.

I don't know what they are, don't think they are butterfly eggs.

Steady- I was thinking stink bugs, too, from the photos I researched. They were on the wooden picket of a fence and are about 1/8 of an inch long and slightly less narrow. They weren't in a perfect line or nestled next to each other.
Frost- You're probably right. They looked too big for butterfly eggs.

So these eggs are quite large. Probably too big for stink bug eggs. Keep that one good one and see what hatches out.

That was my plan but, alas, it's not there today. I'm not sure what happened; maybe an anole?

More likely they hatched
