This time of year, in addition to all the freezing and canning - whatever's ready in the garden, that's what we eat. For supper last night I put a little canola oil in our big iron skillet and fried together some cut okra, onions, ripe Jimmy Nardello sweet peppers, and Chinese long green beans.
In keeping with the sort-of Chinese theme, I think next time I'll use peanut oil and a little sesame - but this was real GOOD.
