I think I could become obsessed!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I received this P. incarnata 'Alba' last year in a trade. It grew very nicely, and in no time at all it had been devoured by Gulf Frits cats, and did not do any 'regrowing'. It seemed to be slow to grow this Spring, but, WOW! This Summer it has begun totally covering the 2 trellises that I planted it on, and is blooming like crazy! I think I've been bit by the "Passi" bug!
My only disappointment this year has been that we don't seem to have as many butterflies. I've seen only one GF. Although the last couple of days I have seen 2 Zebra Longwings. So I'm beginning to feel a bit more optimistic. I did receive a P. belotii, also in a trade, though it's still quite young and has yet to bloom.
I think the bug bit real hard! LOL!!! Going to have to start searching out more varieties, and places to put them!

Thanks Txtea! I think so too! I'm a very excited newbie to Passi's.
Hi Kay!!!! The credit! for new obsession must go to you!!! I am SO enjoying this!
The P. belotii is growing, albeit a bit slowly. But I do have it confined for this year in a container on my front porch… I'll try to post a pic soon. I've not been able to pick out the perfect garden spot for it yet, which is why I'm growing it in a container. Temporarily! I'll let it go this season on my porch, and then next year I plan to have a perfect spot for it!

You can go nuts with Passifloras - there are SO many beautiful ones. Belotti gets massive, so give it plenty of room to roam. I will send you some seeds for Passiflora foetida aka Love-In-A-Mist. This has quarter-size pink or white blooms. If you don't get them in a few days, dmail and REMIND ME!

KayJo, You are a dear! I SO look forward to them! Looks like I'll have more reasons to get rid of some more 'lawn'!!! Yea!

So P. belotii gets massive!?! Have you found that it does a 'die-back' in the winter?

It is beautiful! 2 of mine are blooming for the first time this year. 1 I can't identify and 1 a Betty Myles Young. I just love them all.
