Pottered Oil Lamp?

Recently, while cleaning out our aunts storage shed and we discovered this pottered oil lamp. There is a signature on the bottom, Nelson © 77, I'm assuming it is #77 of #??? made. I have spent hours looking and will continue looking but if you have any information that would help I would greatly appreciate it.
