A fellow DG member gave me two pigeon pea plants at an RU. I haven't been able to talk with her about them, so I wonder if anyone grows them simply for their blooms?
They appear to be a coming plant or at least getting tall though what little I've read indicates they are bushy.
Can anyone offer their knowledge of or experience with the pigeon pea?
Thanks.
pigeon pea just for its flowers?
LOL!
Where've you been? Talk to me in a dmail...
:D
They ARE edibles!

Yes I know that. Which is why I asked if people grew them for their flowers alone. Is this a plant I could put on a trellis like the hyacinth bean (which is not edible)?
Or is a shrubby thing. I have no experience with the thing, but would like to get them started on a growth spurt soon.
Thanks Linda!!! ;)
