Good Afternoon All
I came across this little bird (about the size of a sparrow) feeding on a footpath whilst out walking near Fort William (Scotland) on Friday.
Having done some digging on the internet, the closest looking bird I could find was a Pine Siskin, but I understand that these only live in the Americas?
Could anyone please confirm what kind of a bird it is?
Thanks.
CLOSED: Is this a siskin?
Yep, female [Eurasian] Siskin. They're common in forested areas in western Scotland

Thanks Resin... That makes more sense.
Croggy.
