Need an Id for this little guy

I have been caring for this little bird since July 5th, I think he is ready to fly now, but he does not know how to eat on his own yet. What kind of a bird is he and would like as much info on him/her as possible

Find the closest rehabber and give them the bird, please. It is illegal to keep birds and the rehabbers know the exact diet and have the resources to get this bird to others of its kind so it has a chance to survive in the wild.
