I have these small black beetles that are eating every raspberry fruit. How do I get rid of these critters?
How do I get rid of bugs eating my raspberries?
sounds like sap beetles? are they inside the inner part of the fruit when you harvest? or do you see them on the outside of the fruit?
Unfortunately you will need to spray them with some kind of insecticide. Try an organic product like Bt or Neem oil first. Otherwise use malathion or Sevin or bifinthrin but read the labels before applying.
Thanks drobarr. They are both inside the fruit and outside. I also have noticed wasps eating my yellow raspberries.
pyganic
Here is what I recommend. It has both Neem oil as well as pyrethrins. Organic and can be sprayed up to the day of harvest.

There are a ton of beetles it can potentially be...could even be flea beetles. Would be nice to see a picture to ID them.
Thanks drobarr. I will look into that. Tough to get the little rascals to sit still for pics though.
