Yes, Happy Birthday to you, my friend.
Wow, thank you I really appreciate it. I have gotten more Happy Birthdays this year, then in years past, and I really enjoy it. The water leak in my house is getting fixed and my soon to be ex got served yesterday. So it really has been a happy birthday, you all have just made it better. Im 49 yrs old and proud of it.
The font is sooo small I almost didn't see this. Lol

It was a very expensive day lawyers and plumbers aren't cheap. Lol. Just funny that everything kind of fell on my birthday. My mom and dad even called and sang me Happy Birthday just like they always have but my dad is 89 and my mom is 86 1/2 THAT made me cry.
Kitt-Im not going to be permanently any age. When I'm 50 that will be OK too, I don't give a rat's butt. Lol
49 didn't hurt...
Neither did 60, 65 or 70. I just kept saying, "I cannot believe I am 70". Soon I will be 71. 75 right around the corner as fast as life goes.....Sharon

Grits, I am with you on that one. I can out work most men as far as endurance. I may not be as strong but I can work longer. My dad always said, "You quit when you are done, not when you are tired". I am now trying to unlearn that just a little bit.
It so funny my mom and dad had me when they were older, and I'm the only one. My mom had a lot of illness on her side of the family, all her brothers died young, so she wanted to live until I was 18 that was all she asked. Well, she's still going and she has a grandson that just turned 18. She told me she thinks about that all the time, she can't believe how lucky she's been. I feel lucky too.

I came from an old egg too, my mother was 40 when I was born, it created a big gap between us in my early adulthood, but with time it all evened out.
I am at peace with it all.
Just wish I had had more adult years with
parents to ask them more things. And
able yo understand their point of view
as adults & parents.
