I arrived home the other night to find a package waiting for me in my kitchen from Rhapsody. I have to say, I have traded plants in the past, several years back, but these were the most carefully packed cuttings I have ever received. They arrived very healthy in an intact box, and even included a marker tag!

Thank you so much for the gift, it is most appreciated. I will give you updates as they start off. Thanks for taking them time to help me build back up my collection!

And thank you for giving my babies a good home. Keep us posted on the progress and take lots of pictures!!

Oh I received the best box the other day from Rhapsody with White Suaveolens.in it. They are in the their new home happy happy. I am just so thankful because I had lost my others due to winter storm power outage. It was so nice of you to go to that trouble to send to me and so fast I was so shocked.

As the children grow I will be hapy to post some pics.

Just wanted to let you kmow I got the cuttings, and they arrived in perfect health. I have them in water, and will be planting them soon! Thanks so much!

Oh good! Happy growing. Anyone have them rooted already?

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

wanted to post some pics. Things are coming along really well. I am seeing leaves so I am guessing there are roots, I usually try to start them in clear containers so I can see what is going on but forgot. I do start mine a little differently than I usually see and but it works great for me.

I should get at least a couple of brugs and looks like to me I may get more.
It was so nice of you to send cuttings to us.

They look wonderful!! I have not tried planting them sideways yet. Tell me about that. What are the steps?

And you are very welcome for the cuttings!!

My very first brug that was given to me she suggested it.
Just lay the cutting side ways and cover at leasst 1/2 way with soil. The bottom side will root and the top side will start the brug tree. The good thing is you don't have that cut off stalk standing up. sometimes more than one set of leaves will come up and you can just pinch one set off. If the second set of leaves is far enough away from from the first after you have good roots you can cut the original stalk that was rooted and you will have two starts. Hope that makes sense.

Anyone have any picts of the cuttings? How are they doing out there!!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Since you were so nice to sent me cuttings, thought I would show you how the kids are doing! I will repost the first pic so you can see the changes.
1. pic is the first signs of life (they have since been seperated and put in their own pots.
2. this is a pic of the littlest start but it is starting, this is the middle cutting in the first pic 22 days later. By George he is going to make it, I wondered in the beginning.
3. I may get more than one start off of this brug sorry it is so out of focus, but in the original pic it is the one closet to you. Wanted to show how there are what looks like more small leaves popping up. Hopefully they will be far enough away from the first leaves I can cut the start in to mutliple pieces.
4. This is the biggest and doing great, already had a worm, really give me a break...rofl. In the original photo it is the start farthest away. And very last pic is from this same guy looking downward.

First I had none, now I have at a minimum 3 (probably more that I will pay forward). You are such a sweetie for aiding me in the brug addition....rofl.

That is looking very nice. What are you going to do with so many yellow ones? Time will tell my dear. It was my pleasure to help a few people start or increase their collections.
